Just wanted to thank those of you who provided me with the angel flight info. This includes a couple of private emails whose addresses somehow disappeared overnight. I was able to give this woman the info promptly and she plans to act upon it. Also, I mentioned that cousin Dona would try to get more info from 'Mary Beth' at MDACC about the reason Dr.Talpaz by Oct.of 2003 required every patient of his to have an echocardiogram. She would not say definitively that anyone had had enlargement of the heart, but did mention the fluid accumulation. She seemed to indicate that problems had arisen in patients who already had any kind of heart problem. Dona has never had a problem, but now knows she has a considerable amount of fluid around the heart (occurring in past 4 to 6 months) and that her (new) cardiologist will be ehecking on it. As others have been saying , isn't it wonderful to be on this list and know there are people out there who ae so willing to help. Cheers, Avis (Hertz Nurtle)
