Dear Mary, I'm not sure what good a petition would do. There has been discussion in the various CML groups about a letter writing campaign directed to BMS, a type of campaign that has not been successful in the past because so few people actually sit down and write a letter.
At one point during the Gleevec trial period, I know we had an internet petition going to get Gleevec on the fast track. It appears that the BMS trial is showing good results for many people (obviously Joe excluded). I'm not advocating BMS--Gleevec works fine for me. I was just throwing out an alternative to a letter writing campaign.
