HI Richard and all,
I started in one of the first studies on 4 pills a day, I broke out with a
rash and at that time they did not know much about the side effects. They
decreased me down to 3 pills a day and I've been on that amount for over 5
years. My white counts are about the same as yours, with 2.8 on the low
side and 4.3 on the high side. My red count is always on the low side.
I'm doing just find and the side effects are about the same as everyone
else. I'm still in the same study except that now I'm with 300 people world
wide. Before it was with 200 people from the U.S.. They still give me my Gleevec
for fee as long as I get my blood work every 6 weeks, my BMB are once a
year. They may change in Oct when my next BMB is done. If everything
stays the same I will not have to have anymore BMB's, thank you. That's about
it.
