[CML] I am in remmission

As far as yesterday was a bad day for me (first time with cancer), todays date was great.  Dr. Smith from Johns Hopkins University called that my fish test showed 0% - I guess of Philadelphia cromosome. He said that I am in a complete remmission and he planned a PCR test for September for me and BMB which will show more. 
On the other hand my sister is only a half match. He said that in case I need a BMT they still can use her bone marrow. I am not sure how that works but I hope in September I will have more time to ask him. He is not my primarily oncologist but he is very open and so helpful. I am so glad God brought him to me and he always finds time to call me, respond to my emails... and I am not even sure if he is supposed to with my insurance.
I am so happy people like him exists.
