severe in nature. At first, I think only a few had this side effect. But since
the past few years, I have been noticing more and more patients on Gleevec
having bone/joint pain. I had to be put on the strongest pain reliever one can
find, but it helps and that is a life saver for me. I could not do much of
anything, and I was an extremely athletic, active person. I never sat
down. Now, all I do is sit and I hate it, but it is the price I find I have to
pay to be alive. It is listed as a legitimate side effect of Gleevec, but
it is noteworthy that only a small percentile have the problem long-term and
some even had to be taken off of Gleevec because of it.
I hope you can find something to control the pain. One should not have to
live like that without comfort of some kind. I tried everything before going on
the meds, and I still do because I just want some relief! I hope you can
