Just wanted to drop a line to say forgive me if it sounded as if I were complaining or whining in my previous post, it was not my intentions. When I explain to you what is going on in my life...I am not meaning it as complaint...just stating facts...my journey. Some of the physical things I go through are just plain ole' aggravation, and I guess most of my son's actions could be classified as pure ole' aggravation but hey, I'm not complaining....actually I am so thrilled, so overjoyed to still be here to share with you my life and thankful to Rob for giving me the place to turn to find others who are going through exactly what I am going through and know exactly what I feel before I can even describe to them WHAT it is I feel. That is such a blessing in itself.
I'm responding to the Gleevec....blessing! My son's in jail...blessing! ( Cuz if he wasn't, he might be not be here now!) My husband who was speaking of leaving me AGAIN some 2 months back has built (with the help of some friends(my daughter's b/f) me the most beautiful fish pond...blessing! I have been begging him for at least 6 years now and I know he has always wanted to but felt it was a bigger task than he could handle with his health problems, but my future son-in-law came to his rescue. I am so pleased, he built it just the way I instructed(HA!--- Men, you know how us women are)My front yard is so peaceful feeling. I've really enjoyed it...it is so soothing. I'm assuming this is a labor of love(his words) and maybe he's not going to leave me after all. I'm afraid most of my time spent there has been well after dark, as the temps here have been soaring...99 and heat index of 105. I know some of you experience extreme temps but in Tennessee with the combined heat and humidity, it is absolutely draining (especially to me) and I cannot breathe freely. God has been so good to me. Blessing like no other! More later...sisters and brothers. I'm rooting for us all!'
