Emmanuel, It's Becky the gist patient here. I believe that what you are describing as red eye is just a hemorrhage inside the eyeball. It is painless, but ugly. The topic of eye bleeds periodically comes up on the gist support group site also. I believe that it is a result of the gleevec, which both CML and gist patients take. Don't worry, it will heal!
