Organizers Needed For CML Local Support Group Meetings CMLHope.Com http://cmlhope.com operates an international network of local CML support group meetings in over 60 countries. We need volunteers to apply to become local CML Organizers in their local community.
Our new system on Meetup allows local CML support group meetings to be established in nearly any city in over 60 countries on a zip code/postal code basis. Each CML meeting will have a local web site which can be fully customized. The local organizer can set the location, date, and time as well as customize the site with a logo or photo and photos of meetings and members. Find Your Local CML Meetup -------------------------- You can check to see if a local CML meeting already exists in your community at http://cml.meetup.com If no one has volunteered to be the local CML organizer click on the link that says "Would you like to be the Organizer for this Group?" and you can apply to be the local CML organizer. Set Up A New Local CML Meetup ----------------------------- If there is not a local CML meeting in your community you can create a new one at http://cml.meetup.com/create/ New local CML Meetups can be created in nearly any city in over 60 countries. Promote Your Meetup ------------------- The new Media section on the web site at CMLHope.Com http://cmlhope.com allows you to create and sent letters to the editor and press releases to local newspapers. This can be used to promote and find others to attend your local meetings. Local organizers can find additional information on how to promote their group under the "Spread The Word" link at http://cml.meetup.com on the left side of the page which includes tools to send email invitations, print out signs, agendas, and flyers, and other methods to find local members. Special Events And Meetups -------------------------- In addition to local Meetups the new system can be used to set up meetings at the major CML centers such as OHSU, M.D. Anderson, etc. so patients who are there at the same time can get together. Special events such as regional social gatherings can also be set up throught he syste using the link at http://cml.meetup.com/create/ The network of local meetings will allow many more people to be reached but we need your help to do so.
