[CML] Question on pcr results

Hello, I have been going to Greenebaum Cancer Center, entered into the 106 trial for Gleevec since Aug 2000. I am now in an extended trial from this, in which they are testing pcr. I went in April & doc said call back in a month for results, when I did, the trial coordinator said it takes 6 months to get results? Is anyone else in this trial at this center? How long do you have to wait for resulsts?  I just can't imagine in this day and age that it takes that long?  My next visit is Sept 1st, hoping they have some kind of an answer for me by then.  I would appreciate any comments if anyone else is experiencing this or am I the only one. ???  Thanks, in advance !
