Has he tried to obtain Gleevec through the Cancer Aid Society or through
the Novartis PAP or through one of the generic manufacturers of Gleevec?

Sir/Madam,
Many a times peope have often questioned regarding the authenticity of
my mail.For this reason we have been deprived of the much needed help required
in these gravely times.I have attached
the documents relating to my dad's treatment in my appeal earlier as
evidence.I am also attaching my dad's recent photograph as evidence.It really
pains to put his photograph on the net but there is no other alternative left to help save
his life. More recently TIMES OF INDIA NEWSPAPER came forward and tried
to help us by publishing an appeal in their newspaper on 19th
JULY,2005.Appeal in a newspaper is a stamp of genuineness since no
newspaper publishes an appeal without verification.Through this appeal we were
able to raise 40,000 rupees which is still way mark down the required 5 to 6
lakh rupees to be incurred as treatment costs.We have been virtually living
under the shadow of death for the last five years not knowing as to what will
happen next.Me and my family too have suffered.My mother had one nervous
breakdown.I too developed chest pain and as a result i am seeking medical
assistance and psychiatric opinion.Depression and anxiety took its toll but
now i am learning to cope with it..By helping him we can at least prolong his
life and give him some good quality of time.His survival means i will not
loose my dad,my mother will not loose her husband and the family as a whole
will not become homeless as we live in an accomodation provided by
government.Sir it has been almost 2 months when i started appealing but so far
i have not succeeded to raise the
required funds.Seeing the everday detiorating condition of my father, now the
kind of help needed is very urgent.So i request you to come forward and help
us before it becomes too late.Your one kind act can help save one life.Kindly
help.
