I won't even get into the cancer in our family. When I filled out initial
forms at my first appointment with my oncologist, he was blown away at the
amount of cancer primarily in my mother's family. His first question was did
we all grow up in the same area and the answer is yes.
My mother is the youngest of 11 children and the only one without cancer at
age 67.
I have an aunt who has had non Hodgkin's for 10 years now. An uncle who had
Hodgkin's for about 15 years and passed away due to the complications of the
disease about 2 years ago.
So far I am the only one in 6 children and no cousins have any cancers.
What does it mean? I dunno ???
