Dear Listmates:   As a long-time member of this group and one of the first (full-sized) adults to successfully undergo a cord blood transplant for leukemia (CML) 8 years ago, I wanted to alert those of you who may be in New York City next Tuesday, September 27th, about a workshop sponsored by the NY Blood Center and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, for patients in need of transplant but who are unable to find a matching marrow donor. I have the privilege of moderating this 2 hour workshop which will be offered in both an afternoon and an evening session.
