Most patients do well with Gleevec (Veenat is the generic version). There
are other new drugs in addition to Gleevec which will be in production in the
near future as well.

This is my first post and I am the member of the
group for a week and i
have some querries to make, hope I will get the
answers.
My father has been dx with CML CP and he was teated with hydrea
and his
TLC is now under control and now veenat is being prescribed to him
along with multi-vitamins. his report for BCR-ABL is positive and I
want to know whether CP can lead into AML or blst crises if yes, then
what are the precautions he should take.
