The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in your area will have a support group for folks with blood cancers and also be able to put you in touch with someone your age who has CML. Call them, they have great programs. They also will help with up to $500 of cancer related medical expenses per fiscal year.
As far as telling the ten year old. At this point, all there is to tell her is that mommy has leukemia and you are taking medicine that you hope will keep you in good health for many years. Involve her but don't terrify her with talk of death or risks with transplant. Let her get used to the idea that there are times that mommy needs to rest but she can sit next to you and watch TV or read..... you get the idea.
