Ed was one of the first members of the CML group when it was started.
There are several who are still members who were I think in the first group of
trial patients. I hope others who were in the group at that time can tell you
more about those days when the first trial was started.
My mom has CML. I operate http://cmlhope.com which has this the Yahoo group
and another CML support group on Google.

It is good to have you in the group. Ed was one of the true pioneers in
CML research and was known to many in the group. There are some messages in
the group archive about the early days and probably some of the members
still here who remember Ed.
