Lynn....thank you so much for the long response. It is helpful to hear other's stories and know that you are alone. It just gets old to deal with people who have no understanding. People forget that there is a cancer behind that Gleevec and all of the feelings and emotions that go with that diagnosis.
My daughter has decided to have per PCP deal with everyday problems and she will contininue to email OSHU for big ones and see them as often as they want her to. Obviously, the time off work and the airfare doesn't come cheap, but it is a small price to pay for the correct medical care.
