hello i also had an episode of the itchy head that lasted a couple of months and finally had it checked out by a dr ,it turned out to be shingles and was prescribed medication and it went away. i cant for the life of me remember what medication that was, which im sure is a side effect of the gleevec.  i hope this helps.thank you from ron lacy   New!
