Believe me it is not something I desire having done, I just want to make sure my Doc is not discounting things because of my age which is approaching 71 years. You would be surprised how many Docs treat you differently as you grow older. I have been on Gleevec for 4 and a half years now and I also wonder if there is ever a chance of getting off.
