Jackie, that seems to be the typical routine for BMB. My first one was
very painful and done with me on my side and in a hospital bed. My next
doctor had me on an exam table and on my stomach while she drilled my
hip bone, MUCH BETTER! I've had two more and they were not that bad...
the technique of each doctor is the key to a good or bad experience.
Some places have technicians doing it because they can do more patients
than doctors and get better at it than the doctors.
