Hi everyone, I am into my 6th week of 400 mg Gleevec and am finding new and interesting side effects all over the place!!! I am getting the nausea under control, I have lost all of my eyelashes, my lips and mouth are dry and cracked, and now am experiencing (this is the embarrassing part) stomach and intestinal gurgling, cramping and very noxious intestinal gas. I have never experienced anything like this and as soon as I eat anything... approximately 5-10 minutes later I am in pain and have to excuse myself from any company! Sorry about the subject..but someone out there must know something to help! I can't go out in public! Sue T.
