Call For Nominations
The National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) is seeking nominations for at
large and scientific positions on the Board of Directors. The NMDP is
looking for individuals with the talent and experience to help shape the
direction of NMDP's future.
The Nominating Committee is especially interested in candidates of
diverse ethnic backgrounds, those who have been marrow or stem cell
donors, those with a background in biotechnology, and those with a
strong business or financial background. The Nomination Guidelines for
Board Membership briefly describes the duties of an NMDP board member.
The committee will interview candidates in mid June. Successful
candidates will be appointed for a two-year term beginning January 1, 2007.
How to Nominate a Board Member
Board and Council members, Donor, Transplant, and Collection Centers;
Recruitment Groups, and NMDP staff are eligible to nominate a candidate
for consideration.
Members of the public are invited to work with NMDP affiliated centers,
recruitment groups, or existing board members to nominate qualified
candidates. To be connected to an NMDP staff or board member, contact
Joan Matkaidi at 612-627-5846 or [EMAIL PROTECTED].
NMDP Network staff, on behalf of themselves or a member of the public,
can send the letter of recommendation with a letter of intent to serve
from the candidate, along with their CV/resume to:
