Hi Tina,Are you taking any thing now for your Cml?Does your onc know you are expecting?I don't know where you live,but where we live we have county health department that gives you a medical card if you can not afford medical attention.It pays for any thing medically necessary including baby's.You should check into this where you live.What were your last test results like?Blast crisis is very serious,I hope your onc still has you on gleevec or something.Or maybe you can't take it while you are pregnant,I don't know about that.There are a lot of opinions out there when it comes to pregnancy with cml.I hope you find the help you need,and soon.Keep us posted,a lot of people on here can help you sort thing out.Tina how old are you,I have daughter named Tina too she is 28.Best wishes,Sandy

Well last year in Oct. I became resistant to the Gleevec. We were
discussing to have a Bone marrow Transplant in Feb. of this year. I
found out in Jan that I was expecting a baby. Well here I am in April 6
months pregnant with a baby boy. It took me until feb. before I was
seen by a doctor, by then I was already in my second trimester. Finding
a good OB/GYN has been a real fight, no one wants to see me and now
they have classified me as high risk. Yesterday I was denyed care b/c I
couldnt pay for my visit out of pocket. Are there any federal programs,
I mean anything that could pay for my doc's and everything else. I mean
its hard enough trying to get someone to take my case let alone see me.
As far as I know up until this point my baby is healthy, but no one has
seen me long enough to run any tests, and I've had 2 ultrasounds since
I've been pregnant. I'm thinking of moving to canada so I can get
medical coverage.... lol. Thanks for all the advice, and I will keep
