Dear Jeanie, A FISH test is recommended every 3-6 months for those patients unable to do PCR testing. I would ask for another FISH test from the doctor to see if your disease is under control since the platelet counts have gone up. Your last FISH was negative. I think your doctor orders a FISH from the blood, you can ask for that and talk to your doctor some more based on the FISH results.
