I think somebody just asked a question about prohibited kinds of tea and hers we are not supposed to use while on Gleevec. Can somebody let me know again what it is? I love to drink tea. I drink almost everything, however now I drink only a tea which is mixed for Leukemia. I found one book from (Maria Trebenova, Zdravie z Bozej lekarne), in English the book name would be something like Health from God's pharmacy. Sounds funny in English... : ) This tea contains 11 different herbs. One of them is for kidney function, one for red cells, another for lungs... and this mixture is supposed to be good for people with leukemia.
I love to drink green tea, echinacea, any kind of fruit tea.... Somebody just emailed that we shouldn't drink a green tea and one lady in the herb store in Slovakia (country where I am from) told me that I shouldn't drink any tea which is for immune system, because those teas increase white
cell count.
Please, if anybody has a list of herbal teas we are not supposed to drink, let me know.
I will really appreciate it.
