It is a little expensive but not as much as Procrit or Eprex!
My insurance does pay for 80% of it.  One vial with 300 mcg/ml in it is
$203.47 at my pharmacy.  While on Gleevec, I used one vial per shot as
needed.  Now on Dasatinib, I use half a vial per shot as needed.
Neupogen doesn't help platelets. Though I was able to boost my ANC to
stay on the drug, sometimes I would then have to stop due to platelets.
 It can be frustrating but eventually your counts will likely level out
and/or with the help of your doc you will find a workable, effective
dose for you.
