Hi, My doc and I seriously considered using Neumega to help me stay on Dasatinib but we agreed that the side effect profile was not worth the possible benefit at that time. I will likely need to increase my dose soon and will face the low platelet problem again. And again we may consider Neumega but not without reservation. As Anjana mentions, very few docs are recommending Neumega a yet. I am told that though Neumega is a step forward as a booster, the side effects do not yet outweigh the benefits. There is still much work to be done until we get a really good platelet booster (thrombopoetin) Christine dx 11/98
