I'm on Gleevec 800mg now and was given a short course of steroids in the hospital (dexamethasone 40mg). I'm hematologically controlled now, but would move to dasatanib if the Gleevec fails. I'm waiting for additional blood work, BMB results.

Thank you for updating us on your CML. The 6-month and 1 year
milestones on Gleevec are important. Our doctor never did a 3-month
test but we requested it and he did a FISH test. So, it is quite all
right to have tests at the 6-month and 1 year marks. And some doctors
start doing PCR testing when you are have no Ph chromosome in the
marrow cells tested, that is from a BMA cytogenetics study. I am
keeping fingers crossed for a great result from your BMA. Keep us
posted. And let us know about the lymphoma as well, I know how you
feel and I just wish that you conquer both diseases.
