Hi Lori--Everyone is telling you to eat well before or with taking your Gleevec and I want to second-third-fourth, etc that! My husband was getting extremely nauseated after upping his dosage. He decided to eat better breakfasts (cereal & skim milk wasn't going to cut it), but also to take the Gleevec later in the day. It means taking his daily dose with him to work and having it with lunch. But it seems to be working. He does have frequent and loose bowel movements, but we joke that that's the Gleevec working, making him poop away his leukemia... (sorry if that's TMI)
