Hi, Tylenol is not recommended because it may have drug interactions with Gleevec. Both Gleevec and acetaminophen (the active ingredient in Tylenol) are metabolized through the liver and may interact.
Ibuprofen is told not to be taken only if platelet counts are below 100,000.
