Sheila - I was diagnosed in July, 2003. I was on 400mg, and within three months I scored 0% on my FISH test . A year later I had elevated liver enzymes and had to take a Gleevec break for a few months. My liver enzymes started to lower, but I lost my CCR status. In such a short time I was now 86%. Once again I started taking 400mg, but my I could not get lower than 36% on my FISH test. I was very discouraged during this time. My dose was increased to 800mg, and within six months I once again achieved 0%. Good luck! Phyllis in MI
