Sandy,
I was on 600mg and then lowered to 400mg. The 600mg drove my numbers
way off, and my RDW hit a high of 21.9 after going up steadily for
months. Then within another six weeks it fell like a rock to 16.2, and
now is 14.2. It was just my body trying to normalize to dosage
changes, which took time. The other numbers you provide sound similar
to mine during the change-over, except my WBC did not go quite as low
-- maybe the only thing to watch closely. The other numbers show "CML
anemia", same as I have been going through, but my energy levels
remained fine throughout, so my Onc did not worry about it, and
constantly told me "just give it time to stabilize". If the WBC counts
keeps going in the right direction, it seems like he sounds "CML
normal", which means weird for most people, but close enough for us.
