Hello every body, i am from Morocco and i need some advices concerning
my mother's leukemia.
two years ago my mother was diagnosed with CML PH+ she was treated only
by HYDREA because we don't have enough resources to get glivec. this
year and after applying for help at the max foundation, my mother
started taking the Glivec (donated by the max foundation) since june
2006. but this month when my mother went to the hospital to get glivec
they told her that the max foundation didn't sent any Glivec this
month(september) .
is it possible? maybe it's because a generic glivec will be soon
available in morocco!but even though the generic coast less money we
still can't afford it. so i wanted to know if someone is in the same
situation or has some informations that could be useful to me. will the
max foundation continue it's donnating program in Morocco or not.is
there any others Foundations that could help us?
thank you for reading me
