Hey Group: (FYI)
I agree 100% Pat, "HI" haven't seen you in post in awhile; I'll email you later. I've taken Oscal pre our bug years for my Otho diseases. I found the generic version Oyster Shell with Vitamin D & Calcium at WalMart to be helpful and the least expensive for Charley horses. Soma proved to be the best for me pre our bug for muscle spasms/cramps; Flexeril tends to make everyone drowsy and some users have to take it at bedtime for this reason. Magnesium, Potassium (bananas), Omega 3 (fish oils), and Iron are other supplements that I know we can take without problems. Grapefruit is a no-no with our gold, however, I read in post that some are able to tolerate.
SSDI is National as opposed to State Funds, therefore, when you are approved it is by the Federal Government and private insurance company's aren't known to challenge the feds ruling regarding employment/disability (after all,
the feds make the laws that they have to abide by and/or face punishment. Terry your case is different with Aetna providing the attorney for you and paying them; I'll be sending you an email later. Dave/DOV is absolutely correct, read and understand all the information regarding disability terminology as it pertains to each of individually.
I was classified '50% disabled' in 1975; which had nothing whatsoever to do with my particular career. In the year 2000 an SS attorney told a girlfriend of mine that a person had to be at least 85% 'disabled' to perform any type of 'work' regardless of past employment and education. In 2006 -- 75-85% will be denied upon filing automatically. By 2040, SS will be obsolete, therefore, those entering the workforce as adults today will need 2-4 IRAs, or other Insurance, Mutual Funds, Certificates of Deposit etc. (CDs are the best~same as Cash per their
availability). Monies available to them for their existence after they are no longer gainfully employed due to age, health, etc. (We no longer live 40-60 years, as our life expectancy increases, so will the retirement age). From 60 to 62 to 65 to 67 to 70 or 72. More Centenarians (sp?) are celebrating birthdays and Reagan was president at what age???
We are living longer, therefore we are working longer. Check out Meijjer's and WalMart's, those retirees are working to subsidize income due to death of a spouse, cost of living, etc., The monies they need now to survive economically, that they didn't prepare for financially during their 30-40 year work history. Both parents working will never again be for 'xtras' it will be for 'necessities'. I tell my children, tell your children and grandchildren. Well, enough babbling, sorry I got off the subject; but I kinda feel it was necessary so I left it here for all (my 2 cents).
Take care, all are in my prayers.
