Hi Katy I went off Glivec for 2 months due to my severe pain. After 2 mths I started Dasatinib-Sprycel. I haven't got any results since I have been on Sprycel but I did get my results from when I was off of glivec. The test was done on the last day of the 2 mth period. My doctor told me that I had 40% leukaemia in my body from being off of Glivec for 2 mths. Those results are quite scary knowing that my leukaemia got out of control so fast. If your doctor agrees it may be better just to change drugs rather than risk your leukaemia getting out of control & possibly not being able to get it back down. Hope you get on okay. Lisa
