Dave, I commiserate. I haven't had your specific syndrome, but at our age it's tough to sort out the results of aging from Gleevec side effects or from something new neing wrong. All I can suggest is to get every test covered by Medicare, and, if they don't find anything specific, blame it on aging. I have breathing problems, prostate issues, back aches, etc. Nobody really knows anything for sure.
