Anjana:
Thank you for this reply.........& this is most likely the cause
since I seem to be retaining quite a lot of fluid here lately. I
haven't started the Lasix (sp.?) yet that the dr. prescribed (she said
it was up to me whether I wanted to take it daily or just when I felt I
needed it the worse). I guess I should go ahead and begin taking it to
see if it helps. She did prescribe Potassium as well, so will make
sure I get enough of that to replenish.

I had the "mug" test done yesterday (Friday) & the lady doing the test
told me that the dr. should have the results by Tuesday (31st.). I was
not prepared for the injections........no one had explained the
procedure to me before hand, so I was somewhat shocked when the girl
told me that she was going to give me one & wait fifteen minutes to
give me the second. (smile). I told her that if I had known I would
have brought my husband. (smile) But, I did okay....the second one
hurt quite a bit since it was in the vein that they had drawn blood a
week earlier. I was thankful I was laying down when she did it. I
still think that everything will be fine with my heart......just the
water retention & Gleevec causing the "chronic fatigue" but best to be
cautious, I guess. My hubby wanted to know why they were doing this
test & I said I guess they were looking to see if I had a
heart......(smile).

Thanks again, Anjana,
Suzieq
