Dear Ruth, Ed Bradley had chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). For many CLL patients, you do not need treatment for 8-10 years. However, there is no cure for CLL as far as I know. CLL is a cancer of the lymphoid system as opposed to the myeloid cells in CML.
