I was diagnosed in August of 2006. I had my first PCR test in September, and the doctor told me it was 7.3. I had another PCR test last week and it came back as .001. I know it's good, but I don't really understand the numbers at all. Do I have a major cytogenetic response? A major molecular response? If they can tell this with a blood test, why did I have to do a bone marrow biopsy in August? If anyone can help me with these questions, I'd appreciate it, since I don't have an appointment with the doc for three more weeks.
