My name is Virginia Garner and I have posted messages from my husband's email address several times. I was in the Phase I trial for STI 571 (Gleevec) at UCLA with Dr. Sawyers. I have some information I think might be helpful to some people. There is a trial going on at UCSF and UCLA for a new Aurora kinase inhibitor (not VX-680/MK0457) which is showing clinical responses quite early and seems to show promise, especially for people who have the T315I mutation. There appear to be very limited non-hematologic toxicities at this point in time.
Anyone interested in finding out more about this trial should contact Dr. Neil Shah at UCSF or Dr. Ron Paquette at UCLA. Hello to all my old friends! Virginia Garner, healthy and well --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ [CMLHope] A support group of http://cmlhope.com ------------------------------------------------- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CMLHope" group.
