I just received notice, and it is on their website www.kp.org, that Gleevec will continue to be in their formulary for 2007. Of course it is subject to the $3,600 infamous "Donut Hole" which means out of our pockets and into theirs.
Before 2006 Gleevec was covered by Medicare Part B, as a treatment adjunct to a diagnosis of cancer. As of 2006 those drugs were limited to those which were injectable.
