Hi, Bonnie. Yes, teary eyes are a pretty common side effect of Gleevec. I get it every day, especially at night when I lie down to go to sleep -- it just starts flowing. I have no experience with Preparation H, but I seem to recall reading somewhere that you shouldn't put in around your eyes. (I don't mean to start a false rumor, but I do remember that from somewhere. Does that sound familiar to anyone else?)
