just wanted folks to know that Terry is doing great from the knee
replacement surgery
however, he is having blood in his stool & is feeling "poorly"......he is
taking Coumadin & the oncologist is hoping that maybe between the family doctor
& surgeon visits we are going to take Terry to tomorrow that we can take him
off the Coumadin
Terry's labs are all low.....normal for after surgery, etc....but he did
have to have an Aranesp shot for the anemia on Thur
he did take a week off from the Dasatinib for the surgery & a few days of
recovery....and other than his white counts were up a bit last Thur....nothing
to be concerned about.
will write in another week when things calm down more. Been so busy with
Home Health coming in, PT, etc.....they were going to send Hospice nurses, but
insurance worked it out to just have home health instead
