I have had to take M.O.M. every day since starting Gleevec (STI571) in the drug trials in 1999. However, there is a wonderful new food product now on the shelves in the dairy section of the grocery stores. It is called Activia and it comes in several flavors. It does not cause a problem for Gleevec, and I have finally been able to stop the Milk of Magnesia every night. As the Dannon company who produces the product says, if it does not work after two weeks they will refund your money. While we are all different, it has proved to be a great product for me.
