My son, Erik was released Friday, July 6th from the hospital. Too soon to know how the Sprycel is working. He was put on the bone marrow transplant list to obtain a donor. My son is adopted. He is in the accelerated stage of CML and also has lesions with fibrosis on his bones. His specialists have never seen anything like this with a CML patient and have tested him for other cancers and infections and all tests have been negative. He's not nearly in as much pain as in the beginning and his fevers haven't spiked. At one point his temp was 104.9. He sees his local Onc on Monday and then we see where we go from here.
