Hi all,
Join the fatigue group hehe.
This Gleevec a killing machine and is giving our blood a battle everyday.
Blood is life, so it with a battle going on in our blood everyday, it stands
to reason we are going to be tired. I don't work, so I can give into the
fatigue, but for those of you who work; I can see where it would be a problem.
Have you tried Vita B 12?
I think it helps, at least for me.
I take a multi vita everyday with extra B 12., the sublingual kind.
Also make sure you are eating a good diet with lots of veggies and etc.
Yogurt daily and some good walking daily is a great help.
My platelets are still high; Bone marrow confirmed my CML. with the phillies.
I will probably have to go on Hydroxea or Agrylin to try to get the
platelets down.

Blessing to all,
Jeanie<3

Hi Larry,
I don't have any medical background or info whatsoever, but I am convinced
that Gleevec causes fatigue. No question in my mind. I truly struggle with
it. I am a 44 year old female, working three-quarters time, have a family of
four, and will have been on Gleevec four years come December. I just try to
get short power-naps whenever I can, and I tend to sleep in on Saturday ams.
