I forgot to mention that before I used the New Balance sneakers to help the tendon I had gone to an orthopedist and he gave me a shot of cortisone close to the arch on the instep of the left foot as he said I had developed a spur. Once the spur was gone the tendon could heal with the help of good shoes. Pat F
