Don't hesitate to visit a good podiatrist with your foot problems. I was experiences a great deal of pain and he said my problem could be easily solved. I now use shoe inserts in my New Balance shoes and in my bedroom slippers. The work great and the pain is gone. I consider the foot problems with just another potential side effect from long term use of Gleevec, but it is manageable. We are all so different that we have to approach side effects differently, and if one solution does not work we need to keep searching for an answer.
