Congratulations on your four year anniversary & here is hoping for many more
happy & healthy anniversaries to follow. Sorry to hear about your other
effects but it seems to me at least that I gain more
faith & strength the longer I'm here to talk about it. I know its not "I"
but "we" that gives me the strength to get up and do the next right thing.

Well, I have survived CML to my four year anniversary........just
celebrated this past week. It doesn't seem possible........seems like
it was only yesterday. I am extremely "Thankful" for Gleevec and all
the other new drugs on the market that seem to be having a great
impact on those of us living with this disease. Thank you, also goes
out to the medical researchers & doctors.
I'm still doing well........but, having a lot of added pain in the
spleen area past few days. Told my hubby this morning that I didn't
know if I could wait until my dr's appointment in a couple of weeks or
if I needed to call her. Don't know why it has decided to act up
again as I haven't had any problems in some time. Makes one wonder
"what's happening now?"
My oldest brother is rehabing an old house directly behind our place
to eventually move in along with my mom. I went with him a week ago
and helped him pick out paint. As we were leaving Lowe's paint area,
I grabbed one last card sample for his kitchen. He went ahead and
chose that color & had it made up. What was funny later once the
painters finished and I walked in, I realized it's the exact same
color as our "Gleevec" tablets. LOL!!!!
