My oncologist informed me that a new trial is starting with a drug developed for ALL. The preliminary results have been very encouraging and this new trial appears to be a multi-center one. My onc is at NYHospital/Cornell/Weill. She did not tell me the name of the new drug nor the number of patients who will be/are involved in this trial but her excitement was very obvious. So this is a story to follow. I'll be speaking to her in about two weeks and seeing her again in mid-May and will ask for more details.
