For what it is worth, I take Citrical PLUS (it has magnesium and
Vitamin D). I am on 2250 a day for cramps and I am only on a 200/300
mg alternating Gleevec dosage. Two tabs=one dose. When I was on 600
mg of Gleevec, I was on 3000 mg of Calcium. Gleevec really robs the
body chemistry of Calcium. The only really good outcome besides
taking most of the cramps away is that my bone marrow density tests
show I have gained good bone density and am not in any danger or
osteoporosis! Caltrate is good but I found out "before Gleevec" that
my Gynecologist told me to get off of Caltrate because of some
ingredient in it that makes a lot of people constipated.

So, for whatever my comment is worth, I thought I would throw in it
the jumble mumble of grunts, complaints, suggestions etc. to make you
aware of certain other calciums out there on the market.

Hugs,
Susan
